GLENDA’S FROCKTOBER SESSION

2025

Ovarian cancer survivor and OCRF Amabassador, Glenda Hill-Baulch, joined me in 2025 for a Frocktober photo shoot in support of the work of the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation.

After hair and makeup styling by stylist Niki Simpson, we started by making a custom “gown”. This pink creation is not a real gown at all, but rather a “mock frock” made in the studio on the spot, just by draping, wrapping, tying and pinning fabric in place directly on Glenda’s body.

Once we’d finished, all that pink was simply pulled apart and rolled back onto the bolt for storage, ready for someone else’s Frocktober session!

The remainder of our time together we spent photographing Glenda in various outfits of her own, building a modeling portfolio for her.

And I’m proud to say she is now in the process of signing with The Silver Fox modeling agency!

As well as being a great deal for my clients, these sessions also raise money to support the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation work developing better detection tests and treatment for ovarian cancer in the hope that one day outcomes will be better for women and girls facing this terrible disease.

“ALTHEA CREATED Forever MEMORIES FOR OUR FAMILY. SHE’S THE REAL DEAL.”
