Frocktober shoots 2026: Here’s the deal
Frocktober shoots in support of the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation (OCRF) will go on sale in August 2026, and with only 31 available, they’ll go fast.
Here’s how they work:
FROCKTOBER SHOOTS: $375
Inclusions:
pre-shoot consultation to design your “mock frock” (a dress made just for you, just by pinning and draping fabric around you — and then disassembled at the end of the session.) We also plan the look and feel of the remainder of your shoot at this time.
professional hair and makeup styling.
full service shoot at the studio in Gordon (on Sydney’s north shore). We do the Frocktober look plus a normal full service shoot with multiple looks/wardrobe changes using the outfits you bring with you.
$350 credit towards the purchase of images from your session.
$200 from every session goes directly to the OCRF.
The remaining $175 partially covers the cost of a makeup artist. (The rest comes out of my pocket.)
WHAT’S THE CATCH?
So now you’re wondering, what’s the catch?
There are just a few things to note:
These shoots are for one person only. If you want to share the shoot, you will need to contact me to make arrangements for that.
The shoots will be held at the studio in Gordon, Monday to Friday. Variations to this are possible, but may incur additional fees.
There is no cash value for the image credit, and it can only be used towards images from this year’s Frocktober shoot. Image credit is not transferable to any other shoot or person.
You will be invited to view and purchase images from your shoot, but you are under no obligation to purchase anything if you don’t want to. There is no hard sell, and no pressure. Please note, however, the previous point: the image credit has no cash value and is not transferable. I’m happy to send you my full price list prior to booking. Just drop me a note and ask.
And that’s it!
Bookings will open in August, with first dibs going to the people on my waiting list. You can add yourself to that list here.
There are only 31 spots available; one for each day of October.
BUT they won’t all be photographed in October. I can’t possibly shoot seven days a week for the whole month straight! We will start shooting late August, and more than likely some sessions will hold over until October/November. Some years we’ve even gone into December.
So don’t worry if you’re not available in October. You have some flexibility around exactly when your session is held. Once you book, I’ll be in touch with you to set a date and time that works for both of us.
